The search for the perfect pumpkin will be at The Great Pumpkin Festival on October 24 - 26, 2008. Visit the Desert Botanical Garden’s very own pumpkin patch, where each day children aged 12 and under can choose their own free pumpkin. This sounds like alot of fun! My daughter and I are going to get out our fall decorations this evening and fix up the house. We haven't got our pumpkins yet...maybe tomorrow, but we don't have any fun event to go to like this...probably just go to the grocery store. BTW did you scrapbook that page? Great layout I might have to scraplift!
Nice - kids and pumpkins make for great photo ops. This is a wonderful time of year to start some family traditions.
Lori - I have some fall decorations too I should pull out - gosh it seems like a ton of work when all the kiddos are gone! I need grand kids to get that excitement again just so the dusting is all worth it! Happy Holidays! Scrap-booking page is a digital page my talented sister in-law made. My little sister is also into and owns a scrapbooking company www.Glitzitnow.com -- she was just on HSN.com this past Friday with one of her products! I guess it's super hot!!
Georgina - I agree! My sister in-law has a very unique talent for making digital pages and I just couldn't resist adding this page in my post! The pictures are the perfect "Kodak moment" in my opinion! Thanks for the comment and stopping by!
What a fabulous scrapbook page..........don't tell me those are your little darlings? :-)
Liz - No!! My kids are all grown and gone! :( But it's almost as good, these darling little ones are my niece and twin nephews! My brother and very talented sister in-law have their hands full with three under three!
Hi Candace~What a fun time of the year to get the children out to find a treasure. That is great that the pumpkin patch allows a pumpkin for FREE. I noticed your sister-in-law created that darling page. What talent!
Julie - It's so nice to see you! I miss you..how are you? The pumpkin patch allows a free pumpkin with paid admission with other activities such as face painting, the Amazing Bale Maze, balloon artistry, pumpkin decorating and carving demonstrations.
Candace- We got the house all done up yesterday. It was alot of work...like you said, dusting and cleaning, ect. Because I wasn't about to put everything out with the houe a mess. It looks really cute. I was really glad to have the help from my daughter. Otherwise I probably would have passed!
So your sister in law does digital scapbooking? That is something I never have tried. I enjoy getting out the papers and embelishments and doing it all by hand. I will check out the website.
Lori - My little sister Laura owns and operates a company that manufactures digital scrapbooking and products and her site is www.GlitzItNow.com and our sister in-law does digital scrapbooking now due to the fact she has three little ones under three (can't blame her) and then she has her pages printed at Costco!! Clever idea as she can share them with other family members too by ordering more than one page! Would love to see your holiday decorations, add a picture here!
