The AZ Real Estate Blogging Network kicked off April 24th, 2008 with a big bang! The attendance was fantastic! We met at 9:00 am, Thursday at the SanTan Village Mall in Gilbert, Arizona. We mingled and enjoyed our lattes, morning coffees and sodas while settling in at 9:30 a.m. to a fabulous line-up of speakers, Teri Ellis, The Lady in Red, Paul Slaybaugh, our ActiveRain celebrity, Shailesh Ghirmire, AZ Mortgage Guru, Mike Jones, Mike in Tucson and clean up was with our local blogging celebrity, Jay Thompson! I personally want to thank the speakers for a marvelous job they did and for their expertise and willingness to make this kick-off meeting a huge success! Without you this would not have been the event it was! There was much to share and much to learn and it was great to see the passion and participation among the attendees. I really believe that this is going to be the monthly meeting to be at and to have such great resources available to each and everyone in attendance for free! You can't beat that! Enjoy the photos below in my slideshow and as time allows I will upload the Video footage of the speakers for those that missed it or for those that want to recap of the event.

Candace...I have only one request. Would you please move to Virginia? We need you.
Kathleen
Candace,
Great job putting this together. It was so much fun! Have a great weekend.
No video of my singing and dancing?
Great job orchestrating this, Candace. It's only going to get bigger and better from here. Looking forward to the next one already!
Kathleen - I am sure my friends in Virginia would like that! Is there snow? You might have a bidding war with Desiree!!! Thanks for the compliment!
Nick - Your attendance made this the big success that it was! Hang on tight, we are going to have a ride of a life time! Ideas are brewing.
Shailesh - The easy part was delegating, you had the hard part and you made it look so easy! I can't say Thank You enough for the fantastic job you did. I am struggling with this video, hope to have it up tomorrow.
Brian - It was a great time. I had a blast and could have stayed all day working with my laptop. I think we need to do a three day seminar....gee is my head spinning of great ideas. Wish you could have been here! You could start up a VA Real Estate Blogging Network and we can rally East vs. West.... ??
Candace, as always, a great job of displaying our little function!!! You convinced me that I needed to get involved so I did - and I'm glad. You took a better photo of Paul than you did of me.;-) Am I really pointing in that photo, yuck. AND I don't like my profile. BUT you look good. ;-) JK - aren't us women vain?
Joan - Yes it was a fun morning! Keep an eye out for the video once I figure out how to use that darn Mixpo?????!!
Teri - ahh I was shocked the only picture I had of you were from those angles. I was disappointed I didn't have any straight on like the others. I think I didn't have the camera out at that time. However, I have a great video of you!! You look MARVELOUS I think! But you nailed it on the head, we never like ourselves in photos! Singing....You're (I'm) so vain, I bet you think this song is about you, don't you.....lalalalalaa
Candace,
Wow! That's all I can say about this fantastic idea you had for this group. I'm curious how you began down this road. I think it is something a lot of us in Central Ohio would benefit from. If you don't mind me stealing your idea (I like to call it not reinventing the wheel), I would love to hear how this all got started.
Thanks so much!
Allison
Candace,
I can't thank you enough for all the effort you put into making this first meeting successful beyond anyone's imagination! Thanks for the invitation, too!
Mike in Tucson
Wow! I am sorry I missed it! Hope I can make the next one!
Terrie - Thanks! I have video as well, but I can't seem to get Mixpo downloaded, any help from someone would be appreciateed!
Ryan - Phoenix Metro and Tucson are big places, 30ish people is a small number, we hope to grow bigger! Wish you could be here!
Terry - Really all I did was orchestrate and have good people on the team who made it happen. It was a great time! I am confident it will get even bigger and better!
Alan - are u my long lost brother? *wink* You are very welcome!
Allison - Email me and I will send you an email on how this all developed! I would love to see Ohio Real Estate Blogging Network have their first meeting! Need a logo made?
Mike - you were the magic behind this first meeting. Because you said "yes" and your willingness to share and give is what made this such a huge success! Isn't it great when we have so much strengthen in numbers? The "Thank You" belongs to you and the line-up of great speakers! See you May 29th, 2008!!
