This week's economic numbers can be looked at two ways....either our economy is half full or half empty. New home sales showed a surprising increase in sales for the month of September (could it have anything to do with the builder incentives?) and resale home prices may have stabilized and even improved in some areas. Tech stocks are doing great with Microsoft, Apple, Google and Intel leading the way. Airline stocks, after years of being beat up, are showing profits including our homie U.S. Airways. Las Vegas is at 95% capacity and the resort and entertainment industry is going strong. More Europeans and Canadians have visited our country this year than ever before. We are still out shopping, traveling, spending, going to movies, buying electronics, video games, DVD's, eating out, living our lives, looking at houses (some of us even buying). And we live in one of most beautiful and economically sound states in the union.
FYI: Interest Rates are awesome! And if the Feds drop the Fed rate next week, adjustable rate mortgages, along with the 30 year fixed will give buyers more financing options.
